Patterson Moving To Portland Q & A
Moving to the Rose City: A Q&A with Drive-By Truckers Frontman Patterson Hood
Just in town for a stripped-down Truckers date at Rev Hall, Hood already has plans to return—permanently—this July when he and his family move to his “favorite city in America,” none other than Portland, Oregon.

And all along I had assumed that Philadelphia was his favorite city in America.

I hope this box comes out on both vinyl and CD. I'd buy both versions.Jonicont wrote:35 songs. Gotta get back to the gym. That's gonna be one goddamn heavy box!

Re: Patterson Moving To Portland Q & A
I really never thought Patterson was serious about how much he always said he liked being in Portland.
I thought it was along the lines of being a good musician and appreciating having fans everywhere.
Then in a short period we got a lot of solo show dbt love and I thought it may just be a way of making up for a bit of a dry stretch but I guess it all goes to show that sometimes [insert city here] really is their [insert musician here] personal favorite.
I fuckin love it and hope to benefit from some cool shows that otherwise never would happen.

Well now we have the answer to the box set question. It'll be an expanded version of the Fillmore show(s).
By the time you drop them I'll be gone
And you'll be right where they fall the rest of your life

Re: Patterson Moving To Portland Q & A
I'm hoping that also means there will be a "deluxe" digital version of all 35 songs, but minus the fancy packaging
And I knew when I woke up Rock N Roll would be here forever
