DBT played a great show there last June. Hopefully we can make this one too, but the timing is bad for us.

I was at the show last year and the show / night out in MB just plained kicked ass. Patterson got the night of the week wrong and then in Let There Be Rock said, "I saw the Replacements mother fuckers and they didn't know what night it was either!" Truly, an instant classic.

Sounds like a pre-game invite to me.

Possibly in for this. Certainly doing Norfolk the next night, which is (imo) a MUCH better venue. Despise the House of Blues, terrible layout.

The MB HOB is a gorgeous venue...as long as you don't mind the 40 ft stage lol. We may be in for Norfolk the following night though, works much better for us. It's closer, we've never been there, easier to make a weekend of it, and a better venue for my kid's second DBT show. They loved the show last summer at Ziggy's.

Norva is a cool little venue. A bit like a slightly smaller 9:30 Club, without (if memory serves) the balcony.

The Norva is most similar to The National in Richmond. They are, in fact, owned by the same folks. And y'all should definitely come up, I'm pretty pretty sure that Ramonz and me will both be there.

Good enough for me, we love the National! Adding bonus of you & Ramonz...barring some last minute changes we're in for Norfolk!

We're official out for this. Tracy can only take off Friday for the NorVa show. I was hoping we could drive down Wednesday night and swing both of these but couldn't make it work. Have fun & remember if you're on the rail at the HOB you're looking straight up at a 15 foot stage

Neck still sore from last year. The wife is finally going to the Rock Show again. Gonna sit at a table with her and relax.

You know there aren't too many of those at this venue.

True, several years back I saw DBT there with Tift Merrit. My back had gone out causing me to miss WSP/ABB ,3rd row a few weeks before....((caught them in Raleigh earlier in the year, kick ass show) . I made it to DBT at HOB and my back was killing me. After Tift played the crowd thinned out and I managed to sit at one of these tables. I was in heaven! One of my all time favorite DBT shows with people who died dedicated to Jim Dickenson.

Looking forward to seeing the band tomorrow night. Was hoping to get a place down there (live in Wilmington) and stay the night, but my rock and roll buddies around here can't take off work Friday. So I guess I'll just limit my consumption and drive back. Anyhow, some of the best shows are the first and last of a tour. I have a feeling there will be some pent up energy tomorrow night! Also, if you haven't already seen him - get there early for T. Hardy Morris. As good as it gets for Southern punk, or crunge as he calls it. Genuinely good guy, too.

One of the best things I've seen in years was Patterson sitting in with T.Hardy Morris for an incredible version of Love Buzz at the 40 Watt during Homecoming a few years ago. I'm looking forward to seeing him again in Norfolk tomorrow.

In the house. The rail has padding! My elbows are thankful.

Hanging with bogart and Coach, but am especially delighted to see Jewell of Jim&Jewell fame, back at the rock show! Tonight's for her!

Nice, we're not touring behind an album set list.

Lookout Mtn into English Oceans seems like a bit of a roller coaster. Has Play It All Nite Long been a show closer before?
