Strange start to Night 3. I got hit with what may or may not have been a stomach bug (more than likely eating & drinking garbage & little sleep for 4 days) around 3:30 in the afternoon. Spent the next few hours trying to sleep whatever it was off. Didn't walk into the 40 Watt until after 9:20 feeling well less than 100%. Found a spot & sipped water. Impressed w Six String Drag but had seen them before so knew what to expect.
Starting feeling much worse & realized maybe I shouldn't be mingling so close to people. Moved all the way to the back of the venue right in front of soundboard. First time we've been back further than 2 to 3 rows in 24 DBT shows. Sound mix was fantastic. One Of These Days again! Still hard to have a great time when you feel like you're gonna puke. Show was decent but couldn't touch Friday night with a 10 foot pole. Feeling like shit was a disappointing end to a great weekend & 3 great shows.

Still here. Thanks streamers, Grand Canyon as closer was great. I want to get pissed off and blame clams for something but I'm too tired. Y'all have a great night. I'm ready for homecoming 2016!!
Probably the best encore set I've ever seen them do.* Could've been the best versions of zip city, a&f and Shut Up that I've ever seen. Plus the Prince song was awesome. Hearing One of These Days for the second night in a row was really REALLY great, so was the jamming version of PPOTM that followed it. And those last few minutes of The Opening Act.... so good.
*Then again that encore a few summers ago at the Brooklyn Bowl was pretty good too.

The atmosphere tonight was incredible. Didn't seem like a short set to me but I don't have a watch and don't bring my phone to Rock Shows. I don't want to get all sappy, but tonight was moving. Primer Coat and Grand Canyon are gut punch songs. And to see Patterson and Cooley hugging each other on stage and grinning from ear to ear was incredible. Got goose bumps several times during the show. Patterson said it was his favorite Homecoming ever so.... Everyone drive/fly safely. See you down the road.
Great weekend once again (other than being sick last night & this morning). Three great shows, with Friday being the best DBT show I've ever seen. Fantastic town & a fantastic bunch of people. I got to put more faces with names & got to see some friends I don't get to see at the regular southeast DBT shows. Safe travels everyone!
PS still have never been able to speak to Clams even though we're both PA natives...one of these days
