Night one casualty here. Just want to say THANK YOU to all of you wonderful folks for taking care of me. I'm fine - just got a little overheated and dehydrated. BP was 90 over 70 which is a little lower than my norm. I'm home, drinking coconut water. Even stranger, husband dreamed earlier this week that I passed out and he wasn't there to help me. Wish he'd dream something good.

On a better topic, the show (or part I saw) was a scorcher. Pauline Hawkins followed by Sounds Better in a Song was brilliant.

Thanks again y'all for being the greatest fans of the greatest band!

After last night's fabulous show and spectacular time with great peeps, my immediate first thoughts are why the fuck did it take me so long to finally make it to Homecoming and damn, when this is over, I have to wait a whole year to do this again! That was a special night. Let's do it again.

The shortest encore ever was the no encore two years ago, but that was understandable. (RIP Craig)

Wow. Great set. PPOTM is my favorite way to end a Rock Show. Odds are us Friday HeAthens won't get that tonight. NO worries, just gonna be good to be back in Athens at the Fabulous 40 Watt!

Random thoughts...just got up:

I thought the energy level was off the charts last night. Most of the night was balls to the wall. The 40 Watt probably only 75% full, but most people there last night were diehards. Crowd was loud & into the show. I personally thought show was reaching epic level until the truciated encore. Seen them 22 times and never had a shorter encore (except for Craig's memorial show). Not sure what the deal was with that. All in all a great 1st night.
