Funny story. As we were listening to the live stream at my house, Mr. Cooley James (my cat), cried during every Patterson song. During Cooley songs he laid perfectly quiet. This continued through the whole stream without fail. I guess he has a prefrence on who he likes more.
When the lights came up we all went home but never quite the same.

Have enjoyed many of your recordings in the past...

Now this is funny.
Daddy Needs A Drink, Sounds Better In A Song and World Of Hurt. Hell of a Setlist.
I met a friend for drinks after work then watched the world series. Man did I fuck up last night.
By the time you drop them I'll be gone
And you'll be right where they fall the rest of your life

Some of us aren't as fast as Z-man, but still make a good recording. Different recording source for those that like to try different flavors. LMA uploads are processing but should be live by the morning for those that prefer to stream or download mp3's.

Thanks as always to the tapers. You guys do great work.
A couple of things worth noting about this show: the Pawtucket crowd was good and loud. The energy in front of the stage was approaching 40 Watt levels at times, and Patterson definitely noticed and appreciated it. I know he's noted many times that he's a fan of many of the bands that have emerged from Providence lately, and RI returned the love in a big way.
And speaking of RI rock, the opening band, The Silks, was badass. Truly excellent. That was as good an opening set as I've seen all year. Got a feeling I'll be seeing a lot of them in the future.

He mentioned one of those Providence bands in his intro to Let There Be Rock - The Low Anthem. Not sure how many folks understood the reference to area. Here is a very early recording of them from 2008 - one of the first shows they played with Jocie. This one sat on my hard drive for about 18 months until they started to make some noise on the national scene and I figured someone would want to hear it. Not a fantastic performance or recording, but interesting to hear a very early incarnation of a band.

LOL, I was one of them crazies in front of the stage. My friend/co-worker that was with me took some really good pictures. Not sure, but is there a place where we share them here?
