Just checked into my motel. Guess I'm the first one here! Let's get this party started.

Y'all have fun tonight. Tell UR to buy Flickr already and get it done with. I'll expect a tequila on the house in February.

Hall and Oates are playing in Connecticut for the grand opening of Darryl's club tonight. Pretty sure that Houndmouth just left one on stage for him last night.

It was defiantly him and his amp. He was walking arouaround and talking to Newt during changeover. Amp was real boutique.

Edit: ok, wasn't him. The boutique amp is actually Jay's

The good news is that people don't feel the need to rush to social media arounds these parts.

The bad news is that when I wake up and want to know what happened....I have to be patient.

Patterson very kindly posted a few pictures on Facebook. They didn't go as the Beatles, the Replacements, the Band, or the Bad Guys on the Supreme Court (though that's close).

Just back to Atlanta (drank 2 quarts of Gatorade during the drive so yea, acidotic dehydration). What a night. Got to put a lot of 3DD names to faces---very cool. Thanks for making me feel welcome. I don't even know what to say about these guys anymore. Something that struck me, as it did at the Tabernacle show, is that they really seem to be playing for each other now. I guess that's another way of saying that everything is done in service of the song. That's easy to say but hard to implement. You have to actively listen and engage with one another. One thing that helps achieve that is being (mostly) sober when you play--and they certainly seem to have cut down the on-stage drinking significantly. Also, they've always rocked but now they swing too. Natural Light is the obvious example but you can hear it throughout the set. Anyway, another great Rock Show in the books.
Kick out the jams motherfuckers.

How was the Houndmouth set?

Loved them since they first opened for DBT back in Tulsa.
