It looks like Cooley goes on at 8 at Melting Point, and Centro-Matic goes on at 10:30 at the Theater. Sounds like a manageable double bill...

Dig it buddymo - from what I've read, Mr. Cooley goes on around 9pm, and Drivin n cryin go on around 10:30pm so I'm doing the double bill - an hour or so with Cooley, then heading to the 40W to get my rock n roll fix...see ya there man...

My attendance at the Macon Cooley show hinges upon how well the Arkansas football team plays next Saturday. If they win, we (UGA) are in the SEC championship. If that happens, I won't be in Macon as the game is being played that night. If Arkansas can't beat Missouri then I'll be in Macon watching Cooley that night,

Looking forward to the Patterson shows with Lydia! Unfortunately I won't be able to attend, but I did manage to draw up these posters to commemorate the event. I am painting each one of these by hand, which is…time consuming to say the least. So there aren't gonna be too many. Both Patterson's & Lydia's merch table will be selling these. Have fun & wish I could be there!

Started to comment on the nice attention to detail, Lydia's guitar strap, then I realized who the poster is. Better get that shit right.

Just back from Patterson's Decatur show. Surprising number of Truckers songs, not that I'm complaining. Played What it Means for I guess the first time and got a standing ovation. Encore was Living Bubba, A Long Time Ago, World of Hurt, Let There Be Rock. Can't wait for the next 2 Thursdays!

I did and it was incredible! First off, the Bijou is an awesome theatre and it sounded fantastic. There was probably somewhere around 150 people there (if my eyeballing it was accurate) and it was such an intimate show. Patterson told stories in between just about every single song (this was my first time seeing him solo so that might be a nightly occurrence, but nevertheless...).

Also, I won two tickets in the Bitter Southerner contest on facebook and in addition to the tickets, I got a signed vinyl copy of "Killers and Stars." Couldn't have had a better time!

Hey, I just want to say thanks to all of you and to Patterson for showing Lydia such a good time the past couple nights. She had a blast at the shows and maybe just as much fun hitting the town with Patterson afterward. Sorry I couldn't be there, but we look forward to seeing you all at the Homecoming next year! Also, I understand a few people got shut out of picking up a copy of the poster (see a few posts above). Hit me up via PM and I'll see what I can do to hook you up.

thanks!

I was also at the Knoxville show. My first time seeing Lydia, and she was incredible. Patterson was amazing and he seemed to be having so much fun. A very small crowd, but a crowd that clearly wanted to be there very much, which is better than a bunch of jaded people.

I'll be back tonight for night 2. Last night was a little shorther than the other Cooley shows I've seen (1:20) but still great.

I don't do setlists, but Patterson played for about 90 minutes last night. There were no covers, although he went a little deep into the catalog. "Thanksgiving Filter" was played early and set a great tone for the evening. He told a few great stories, particularly when introducing "Heat Lightning Rumbles In The Distance", "12:01", and the emotional story surrounding "Grand Canyon". "What It Means" was played with some lyrical adjustments, including the removal of the "shot him in the back" line. There were a couple kinda loud drunks, but overall the crowd was great.
