Definitely! Me and the wife, both sons, brother and at least a couple of buddies. Have never been to canopy club but have seen several shows in urbana. Plan to attend the Chicago show at the Riviera in October as well. :D

Expected to see more chatter about this show, hopefully I'll see some familiar faces on Sunday. My wife can't make it, so I have an extra. No charge, although I won't turn down a beer or two from whoever wants the ticket.

Hey y'all! Long time lurker, occasional poster. I'll be at the rawk show with my standard dbt attending buddy. I was born and raised in champaign/urbana, and though I left for awhile during the college years, I'm back now. So it'll be fun to see dbt in my hometown at last. They've been here a few times before but not for a long while, and when they did come , they always seemed to come at in opportune times for me so I've never seen 'em in champaign/urbana before. Hopefully a good crowd shows up to supprt them!

Anyone coming from out of town, let me know if you need recommendation for food/drink establishments for before the show. Sadly most of the places right near the canopy club are pretty lousy, but there's some great places around champaign urbana if ya venture a bit.

Just as odd that Cooley closes two shows in a row. Patterson usually closes the show, generally speaking.

And patterson opened which has not been the case on this tour. Highlights included an awesome World of Hurt, Goods Field Road, and a rowdie Let There Be Rock (including a double flip of the bird and F you to Gene Simmons!). Show was pretty mellow the first half but finished strong. Only negatives was the very small crowd and only 20 songs (two hours). But overall a great show and loved the setlist which was a little different combo than I had seen in the past. Loved Cooleys selections.
