She'll be there. But we wouldn't mind some company on the rail.

I bet Mr and Mrs B will be there. Maybe that nice very tall guy
with his boy who were on the rail next to Bill last year.
Wish I was gonna be there again.

^ Yep. That nice very tall guy was indeed there on the rail with his son again, and after the new song Patterson pointed at him and said "that one was for you, buddy!" The moral of the story = bring your kids to Truckers' shows.

I agree with Jeremy that it was a hard-driving, special night. I just wish they'd quit playing the Royal Oak Music Theater. The sound is shit, I could barely hear a word Patterson was saying as he told the White Knuckle, West Virginia story in its entirety.
she was all provocative and everything

I couldn't make it, thought I really wanted to. Totally agree about the ROMT, though, and that shitty venue helped ease the sting of missing the show.

How was Lee Bains III? Love his stuff, and hope he went over well!

I saw on FB (from someone I don't know) that the crowd was lame and complacent for DBT, that Patterson lost his shit about something during Sinkhole and never seemed to get it back, and in general it wasn't a great night. Second hand news, not sure if the sentiment was universal, but curious what happened.

Patterson kicked out some guy for (presumably) pushing and being an asshole during Sink Hole, but that was quickly forgotten and he didn't seem bothered by it once the guy was escorted out. Can't speak to how the rest of the crowd was acting--can't say I was paying much attention to it--but as for it not being a great night, I couldn't disagree more (other than the vocals being poorly mixed). One of the higher octane DBT shows I've seen (and this was my 16th).

Lee Baines rocked the crap out of the place. They were great. I shook Lee's hand after the show - he seems super nice.

Lee Baines was AWESOME! I really dug their set.

I agree that the crowd was pretty tame which was too bad for a show like this where the band was plowing forward in high gear the whole time.
