We're at the Atlantic View hotel. 0.2 miles to the venue, 0.0 miles to the beach. :D

Took us awhile to land on that one; some of those beach hotels got scary reviews.

I'm soooooooo jealous of you guys. This is a great venue. Half indoors and half out. Really small cool place.

On my way to Dewey Beach. Hopefully there will be tickets available when I get there.

I don't know about the band but the fans are obviously rusty.

Is Cooley still doing the thing where he announces a different cover song before they play Til He's Dead? Would be cool to see a list of those. I think it was "an old Elton John song" the night I saw them.

One correction to emandrisdad's set list: it was Daddy Learned to Fly, not Daddy Needs a Drink.

I thought I posted it at the end of the show, but I guess not. I, um, had had a bit to drink by that point.

Fun time last night. It was a great show last night. At some points it was ramshackle but in a great way. Other times it was transcendent. At the end of "Grand Canyon", after Patterson, Cooley and Jay had left the stage, Matt and Brad locked into this groove. After Matt left the stage Brad expanded upon it with his solo. I turned to Cole and said, that was intense. When Brad finished and left the stage Cole pointed out that Brad had a catbird eating grin on his face. He told me Brad only smiles like that when he knows he's done something special.

The greatest rock & roll bar in the world.

Matt in the groove.

Most memorable part of the evening. Cooley saying we were on break for 3 weeks. Patterson's replay, "It was 6 weeks mother fucker". Great to have the live shows back.
When the lights came up we all went home but never quite the same.
