Anyone want to get some beers at the Toronado at some point? They have an excellent beer list.

Best draft beer house in the city. I've been drinking there since 1991.

Has there ever been a thread called "Where in the world is Bill in CT?". There should be some kind of 3DD award for miles traveled, states/countries visited, rock enjoyed.

If I get to town early enough, I'd be down with this! We could head to Magnolia for some grub too.

Bill isn't hard to find. Just track DBT, Pearl Jam and Neil Young and that's where you'll find him. If not on the rail in the venue, then at the beer joint closest thereto.

I don't claim to have the familiarity w/ SF restaurants that I did at one time but I very seriously doubt there are 6 better dim sum restaurants in SF. I doubt that there are any. They're right that it is shockingly expensive but if you're doing the only one chance tourist thing it would be a very big mistake to pass on Yank Sing. Superb.

I'm way too lazy to look at a bunch of setlists from the 2014 rock shows to try to confirm this thought with any hard evidence  but it seems like they've been playing certain songs in a certain order more often than usual this year. If so, do you think they've been consciously trying out sequencing ideas for the live album? On the other hand, I could be totally wrong about this. Just ask my wife. Is anyone going to be streaming these Fillmore shows? Please?

I think the answer is yes on the sequencing and somewhere between I don't know and no on the purpose.

To say this is going to be epic (with weird or rare songs pulled out) is an understatement.

I've been trying to make my travel plans work and finally said, "Fuck it." The delay is costing me a little money, but I did just get a ticket at regular price via LiveNation.

Man, I hate their site! I could not buy all three tickets in my cart in one transaction. Very annoying, and you'd think a little costly for them to pay for multiple transactions.

I'm particularly impressed in light of the overlap with Lucero. They could reasonably have been expected to cannibalize each other's audiences.
