An Asheville/Charlotte two-fer would be nice...but those two cities are closer than they'd usually do back to back....but who knows. I *do* know that it's been way too long since a "holiday" show. NYE 2012 was the last one I guess.

Asheville to Charlotte would be doable and very tempting.

Just, um, spent a lot of money. For seated shows we got Reserved Floor Center Row CC for NYC, Reserved Pit Row CC for Albany, and Reserved Pit Seating Row 3BB for Nashville.

I hope all this "reserved" seating stuff isn't going to become a thing with DBT.

Or maybe at the Georgia Theater in Athens since they're not playing there in August.

Ryman (Nashville) presale started today. Got my 2nd pew seat through a friend of mine. $37 with all fees and a hard copy ticket mailed out.

Regular sales start Friday.

The Ryman is almost always reserved seating. Can't remember a GA show except the Grand Ole Opry. To be honest, those reserved pit seats are the closest to the stage (folding chairs for VIP's <g>) but I think that they are actually too close. First three rows of pews in the middle is how I roll.

PS, for the uninitiated, the only bad seats in the Ryman are anywhere under the balcony and especially behind a post, and on the extreme edges of the outside aisles on the floor. Balcony is preferred for recording sound-wise if you are mic'ing on your person. The front row of the balcony is basically 12th row only elevated because of the shape of the hall (it's shaped kinda like a banana, wide and narrow).

The sound in this hall is top 10 in the nation, as long as the sound guy doesn't overload the signal. Less is more there.

Tix bought for Philly and Bethlehem.

Btw this will make 5 DBT shows for eastern/central PA within a year (2 Philly, Lancaster, State College and Bethlehem). Thank you DBT!

Nice. You know, the Martin Guitar factory and museum is only 10 or 15 miles away in Nazareth, PA and I've always wanted to visit. Hmmmm.

Same here. Beacon will probably be a day of show decision.

That's what I'm thinking since it's right between Nashville and Charlotte!

I couldn't agree more. After a long wait I finally got a ticket for Nashville. I'm in Section 1 Row H Seat 1 so way over stage left. I'll be lucky if l am able to see EZB at all.

I've got Orch1, Row V, Seats 25 & 27 (wonder who will be 26?) for NYC, Standing Room Only for Bethlehem, PA, and Main Floor, Row R, Seats 4&5 for the Ryman. I think I'll be standing on the seats to get a good view at the Beacon & Ryman.
When the lights came up we all went home but never quite the same.

I'd guess that the venue has odd seats on one side of the aisle, even on the other

At least the lack of shows in my regular zone means I won't have this ^^^ lament. :)

In for Nashville for sure. Our craziness prevented great seats at the Ryman, but hell it's the Ryman. Almost certainly in for Oxford and the Birmingham festival date.

I'm in for Nashville. Couldn't pass up the chance to see them at the Ryman, with the combination of great sound and a seated show. I know most folks aren't fans of the seated venues, but my inner MeeMaw has trouble standing up for a whole show.

Going to be a lazy guy at the Beacon, sitting in the first row of the mezzanine (best available seat through the AmEx presale); two days later, we'll be in the pit at the Egg in Albany.

Been to the Ryman twice, hardly spent any time in my assigned seat. You will be fine.
