I haven't been for years but be prepared. Have food to cook, things to cook with and plenty of sunscreen and water bottles. Prepare for the weather whatever it's going go be. Other than that just have fun and pace yourself. I believe AthensJoe is going.

be sure you have something comfortable to sleep on, be it a therma-rest or inflatable mattress etc. at some point you're going to want to sleep. Also take ear plugs, not so much for the music but to keep out the sounds of those around you when you're trying to rest. Tennessee at that time of year can be unpredictable weatherwise, take a lightweight rain jacket and sunscreen like TC said.
SHOWER SHOES, bring em and use em, your feet will thank me.

Turns out that the Derek trucks superjam is actually Friday. But Saturday has tedeschi and trucks, Dbt, phosphorescent, jack white and the man, Lionel Richie. Still a great day. Dbtfan I'll be towards the front for Dbt with some fine folks from Toronto. I'll prbly be in a lucero hat. Say hello if you think you might see our crew.

Bonnaroo is a great time. went from 04-09 and 12. its 3 hours from my hometown. all my best friends always go. wish i was going just to hang out with them. haha

superjams are fun. bonnaroo at 3-4 am is like no other place in the world.
