Mike Cooley, Patterson Hood and Jason Isbell will get together to play a benefit for old friend and fellow Shoals native Terry Pace in Florence, AL on Father's Day. Tickets on sale tomorrow at noon!

Do y'all know if this is an electric show or an acoustic show? I ask because this might be a great daddy-daughter road trip if it won't break her ears to attend. And if it is acoustic, then I wonder what the ticket price is for a kid. Probably the same since it's a seated event, but it never hurts to ask.

I was all prepared to break the bank for a potential SRO Anniversary show three years ago, but that didn't happen, and I think this may be a better show. Hate that both my home and business finances weren't better to accommodate a trip to AL for this. I would pay for a recording of this show. As long as some of it went to charity. I would also pay for a DVD/Blu-ray for the cause.

Somebody please make this happen, or put it out there for free, but this is as much a "must have" as the Cooley's House recording from 12/03

I've been to several shows here and I only know of them doing children's admission for Children's Theatre.

The timing of this is pretty bad for me as far as work goes but I'm gonna try hard to be there. Can't believe this is really gonna happen.

If I'm unable to make it I would gladly pay for a DVD if there ends up being one.

I am all over this. Florence is only a little over 100 miles for me and I already have the day off that Monday. My chick and I will most likely head down Saturday and enjoy the Shoals for a couple days. I have been looking for an excuse to hang out down there for a weekend and this is quite an excuse.
I am sure this will be a smashing success and hopefully it will help Mr. Pace a great deal in his recovery.

We will be rolling up from Jacksonville for this one!!!! I took my wife t the Shoals last summer after the Dimmer Twins show in Auburn. Told her it was a magical place....gonna go see some magic!
