Does anyone know what the show is gonna be like? Is it essentially JI rejoining the Truckers for a night, or more likely the three of them sitting on stage taking turns playing songs? The billing alludes to the latter but it's hard for me to imagine them sharing a stage again without a rock show. Any insight?

I have been wondering the same thing. Judging by the billing I don't think it will be a Truckers show. I kinda think if a full band plays it will be a Muscle Shoals thing with David Hood on bass, Mike Dillon on drums... that kind of thing. That would be fine with me. That is total speculation on my part though.

Long ago, they did stuff like Pine Hill Farm in Durham, NC where it was all acoustic so something like this isn't at all out of the realm of possibility. I also wouldn't rule out the inclusion of some Truckers songs played by all three at the same time rather than just each individual playing a song.

9 days until this show and starting to get really stoked. Should be a lot of fun and the fact that it's raising money for Terry and his family is fantastic.

This is killing me, but I'm not going to be able to make it to the show. So, I've got a pair of tickets available. I know a lot of folks here got shut out, so I wanted to give first shot to someone here at Three Dimes Down. Face value + fees comes out to $65 for the pair (or $32.50 each, obviously), via Paypal preferably. It appears that the tix can be transferred via email; if for some reason that doesn't work, I'll print them out and send.

Came on here randomly to check for any extras and saw your post right after you posted (very kind of you btw), but couldn't get an account activated in time (mostly just read here and stay quiet).
