Ponte Vedra (Jax) 6/6/14

It's finally official, we're in. Who's going?
Any of you out-of-towners that are coming in are welcome to camp in the swamp.
We are about an hour and half west of Ponte Vedra, so I don't recommend
any pre- partying until you are closer to the venue in fact I don't recommend
any partying in the swamp unless you're staying in the swamp.

The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall has been open for about 4 or 5 years.
We took my mother there a couple of years ago to see Wanda Jackson.
It was a nice place and it is in a very uppity part of town. I don't think
there's any place to eat within walking distance. Same with hotels/motels.

Seriously though, we are grandparents and we wouldn't do anything in front of your son that we wouldn't do in front of our grand daughter.

We will be there! Venue is nice, repurposed church, draw back is that is not close to any restaurants or bars for pre game and as Swampy said It is in the uppity part of Jax.

Just read on the venue website that there is a "strict" 10:30 curfew for Friday and Saturday shows. Water Liars on at 8.....doesn't seem to leave a lot of room for a rawk show?

Tampa's set list was fantastic! Ft. L got a very long show which we know we won't get so I'm sure we're in for some kind of surprise

Finally waking up. Great weekend. It's always a pleasure spending time with our DBT family.
All ways love hearing Buttholeville in Jax. The band was really on fire,

I was really dreading the crowd/venue but it turned into an amazing show. The place was packed 'til then last note and the band (especially Jay and Matt) were great. It's always nice to have your expectations exceeded after all these years as well as seeing a band feeding off an audience they've managed to win over.

Great room to see a show.
