You know I just wish this band would take some chances w/ its videos. The same old same old concert clip has just been done to death and is so boring. You'd think a band w/ a reputation for being cutting edge or alternative something would do something different.

Well they're not really a band that's INTO making videos. They're into playing rock shows and making records. They don't have shitloads of time and money to spend on videos, so they're doing what they have to do right now. I'm glad to see them trying to put out content.

Sorry Jenn. That was supposed to be funny. Sarcastic commentary on the comments to the MUEO video (including my own comments there). No serious intent of any kind, good, bad or indifferent.

I think it's only fair to warn others that KG and Clams are now out of my will.

There is certainly something poke-worthy in that clip.

OMG Patterson Hood! You ARE a cinema guy after all!

That was beautiful. Lovely photography. Nice editing. Fantastic rendition of the song.

Yay!

I'm having my "Bubsie is a punk rocker" tee shirts printed up as we speak.

Kidding of course, I'm sure ol' Beantown has the guilts over being misconstrued.

Go rouge, call him Bubbalicious and incorporate your slogan into this graphic:

I know some of y'all don't like the MUEO video and I tend to side with PonyGirl on it myself, but remember these guys don't control EVERYthing. They can't possibly, as they are constantly pulled in more directions than any other humans I know. It's amazing to me that they manage to do videos at all. Above all they work hard and try to do their best and are good hearted so I always try to understand - good ideas may not always be translated well. What I find hilarious is that they did an AMAZING video for "This Fucking Job" - it's a goddamn work of art - and it barely got a mention anywhere!

Now THIS is a video.

This wasn't from the actual HC shows, right? Did some of you get invited to a secret video shoot and not tell us?

Also, that's the longest I've ever seen Matt go without smiling
And I knew when I woke up Rock N Roll would be here forever

I'm pretty sure we posted about it when it happened. It was the Wednesday night of HC week in the midst of the ice. Because so many locals who were invited couldn't make it because of the weather, the majority in attendance were 3DDers and DBT FB Group folks. Everyone was instructed to be dressed in black. Lots of fun.
