And so it begins...

Post by Tequila Cowboy »

Today begins the English Oceans tour and puts the boys out on that road hardcore for the first time in a long time. Best of luck and the hope for good times to the band, crew and those lucky enough to join the circus for a little while. It'll be two weeks before we get to a show but for those hitting up Raleigh and Richmond this weekend Rock out for the rest of us will ya? Full on DBT season once again! Now get you some!!

Life always feels just a little bit better when somebody's going to the rock show. And it feels even better knowing I've got THREE rock shows coming up next week!! :D

In two weeks I'll be driving to Madison after seeing the boys in Minneapolis the night before. My only regret is that the Milwaukee is on a Wednesday instead of that Saturday so the trifecta is out of the question... I won't be making the drive down to Missouri...

Ah, but the Pageant is such a nice venue... :D

Seriously though, I don't blame you. St. Louis is the only date that really works for us until the 2 show run in NOLA so The Pageant it is. Still, Madison on a Friday night? I'm envious. One of my favorite towns.

I have some frequent flyer miles....started looking at flights today, and I actually *could* make Richmond and Wilmington. Crazy, right?

Yeah, it's nice that Thursday they're literally playing block from my office, so that's convenient, but I haven't been to Mad-town since DBT played there in 2011...

It makes me ridiculously happy to know someone's getting their face melted off! Safe travels, and we'll see you at the Rawk Show!

Coming from Chicago to do the Milwaukee / Madison shows.
Truckers plus all them good Milwaukee happy hour specials…
Can't f-ing wait.
Will be one of those rare shows when I want the band to say "here's one of the new ones".

If anyones doing Milwaukee, and unfamiliar with the town and has some time to kill before the show…
I highly recommend the brewery tour at Lakefront Brewery.
Not free, but definitely the most fun one I've been to.
Refills available WHILE on the tour, a peek at the old County Stadium Keg slide, and an hour later you'll be so nice and buzzed you'll happily be singing along to the Lavergne & Shirley theme song.

I agree. Did that tour in 2011. Absolutely worth it.

Boy was that fun. Your little brother, Thacker "The Party General" Gavney was in rare (typcial) form. Great brews too. Both the Fixed Gear and their IPA can be found in my recycling bind from time to time.
