I love Buster's but we've got a wedding to attend that weekend.
We call him Scooby Do, but Scooby doesn’t do. Scooby, is not involved

In! Will be a fun road trip. Would love to hear you locals' suggestions on places to drink, eat, and drink some more.

I'm in Rodney!!
I have been to all the shows in Lexington since 2004 except in 2010 when my wife was severely pregnant.
What's up you crazy fuckers?!!
Been too damn long.

OK, still have the wedding but through an odd bit of work scheduling I might make this show drive to Memphis to meet my wife for the wedding and then drive to Florence for Isbell/Hood/Cooley Terry Pace benefit. Not a bad weekend if it all works out...

Where we pre-gaming, gang? Country Boy is a good local brewery. Just an idea...

I'll be there, can't wait!
Re: DBT at Busters in Lexington, KY on June 13
I'm in as well. Driving up from Nashville.
Re: DBT at Busters in Lexington, KY on June 13
Let's meet at Country Boy brewing co if you guys are down -- great local brewery with some great beers on tap. I'm gonna take a cab, but if someone has room for me and can maybe give me a lift to Buster's afterward, that would rule.

One week out. The beginning of the stoke.
I can give you a ride to and from. No problem.
PS, call me Dave.
Re: DBT at Busters in Lexington, KY on June 13
Thanks dude! I'll just need a ride to Buster's from the bar. I'm cool taking a cab home.

Country Boy is the first place that popped into my mind because it's relatively close to Busters, rarely crowded, and the beer on tap is very awesome. Open to suggestions though.
Re: DBT at Busters in Lexington, KY on June 13
I promise I have no affiliation with this place and have actually only been there twice, but check these out:

I'm partial to the Amos Moses and the Stamping Ground (my wife likes the unfortunately named Cougar Bait), but everything I've had there is great.
What time are we meeting? Show probably starts at 9 and you guys probably don't wanna miss openers Water Liars - good stuff.

Not sure as yet when we'll be getting to town, but CG and I will need to grab a bite somewhere. Any recommendations on that? Doesn't seem to be food at Country Boy.
Re: DBT at Busters in Lexington, KY on June 13
Pazzos is a good spot - right next to CD Central too, if you're looking to pick up some vinyl while you're in town! Pazzos has pizza, sandwiches, wings - that sorta stuff. Beer too. If you're looking for food without beer, necessarily, there are a LOT of good places to eat here, but for beer / food, I like Pazzos.

I've reached out to a local and will report back. For me, I'll have a short window. I have something to do around 5 - 5:30 and then need to get back to Busters to be in the front of the line due to my obsession to being right at the front of the stage to take photos and a couple of videos. I might only have time for a single beer but I'll make it a good one!

This comes highly recommended by a local in the know. The menu looks perfect. And she assures me that it's a place where you can wrangle an amorphous gathering of diverse peeps. Willie's Locally Known.

You can see the Shonna and Neff break up tour as it's comes to Willie's on Thursday. My friend Ray booked it.

Not that I'm intimately familiar with Lexington, but I've always like Cheapside. They always had a good beer selection and decent food. Nice outdoor area as well if you like that sort of thing. I don't believe it's walking distance to Buster's, but it's not a far cab ride either.
Just put the goddamn record on and enjoy it

Jefferson Davis Inn is within walking distance and has happy hour specials till 6. (somewhat nice)

West Sixth is another brewery (partnered with Country Boy) and has a somewhat cheaper seafood place attached--and walkable:
Everything is made from local markets, you can order food there and take it into the brewery (or have it sent there.)

Re: DBT at Busters in Lexington, KY on June 13
I'm totally down with West Sixth, too. Natasha's is sorta...formal? Relatively speaking, of course. But, you know, tablecloths and shit. I like Willie's as a venue and I know Ray (good dude) but they've been on a "limited menu" lately and I find the drinks there prohibitively expensive and the service generally sub par. Just my two cents. I guess we don't all have to meet at the same place...
