The Pageant- St. Louis 3/29

Didn't see a thread for this one. It looks like, barring the unforeseen, that we are definitely in for this show. Anyone else?

Have fun. I just got a wedding invitation that includes me out. Dammit. Maybe I'll splurge on the 9:30 shows and go hungry that week.

I am a maybe. I want to go, but my chick really wants to see the Turnpike Troubadours in Memphis that night.
I attended the Pageant show last year and had a great time. Time will tell.

I'll be there with a buddy of mine... Been to the last couple at the Pageant and they've all been great. FYI, DBT will be doing an acoustic set and signing at the Pageant's Halo Bar from 3:30-4:45 before the show. To get in you need tickets to the show plus you need to buy a copy of English Oceans from VIntage Vinyl (in St Louis, near the Pageant) which will get you a wristband to get in. Not sure if they still have bands, but if you'll be there earlier in the day might want to check it out. For more info see the link: https://www.facebook.com/events/716112768410580/?ref=22

12 days til this one. After seeing the reports this weekend and hearing Saturday night's stream I am officially jonesing now. With the festivities on the East Coast this week and the Midwest shows next week I imagine my jones will quickly grow to fever pitch.

Less than two weeks will be at the Pageant in St. Lou. Will bring the wife, kids, sons girlfriend, meeting bunch of friends there including my brother (will be his first rock show.....took me a long time to hook him in). Probably a group of 15-20 so should be a blast. Love the venue....4th show for us. After seeing the 30 songs and 3 hours they have done over the weekend, I am starting to get fired up! A couple of the shows I attended there were a little short...one due to world series and one with old 97's who played a longer opening set, so hope to get close to that 30 song show.

Priming for tomorrow night having a few and listening to Patterson's 50th birthday show on Sunday. Heading down tomorrow morning with a van load of family and meeting more friends and family.....about 25 of us total. Most going to the Halo bar for the acoustic show. Kind of a tribute to my best friend who passed away in January. Will miss him as he was a huge DBT fan and we will make him proud. Can't wait. Should be a great day! :D

Great show. Didn't get to town in time to get bands for the Halo show, damn the bad luck. Time was tight on this trip. As expected, seeing the new tunes live adds perspective for me. The Pageant is a fine venue, will have to go back there, for sure. The Moonrise is a really cool, unique hotel as well, the Loop is a great area that I've never been to. Blitzen Trapper did a fine job, I've never gotten into their stuff but enjoyed their set. Random thoughts. Oh yeah, the food at the Gyro House was over the top. :D

Attended the Halo Bar set. Patterson and Cooley seemed really road weary but delivered an excellent although short set. Primer Coat, Part of Him, Made Up English Oceans, and When Walter Went Crazy. They stuck around and signed albums following. Even though I am sure they were beat from the last two weeks they did bring it that night. Great set. Heard Space City and Do It Yourself for the first time live which was a bonus. Mixed in lots of old favorites with the new stuff. Love this venue. Easy to get from the floor to the bar and bathrooms. My fourth show there and will try to go each time they are in town. We had a large group (I think about 25) and a great time had by all.

What a great time had by all at this show! It was nice seeing a lot of folks I met at previous shows too. I love that venue. Fourth show I've seen DBT do there. They've all been real good. :o
