Might be in for this. Good timing being weekendish... but will need to line up reasonably inexpensive lodging etc.

Should be able to make Saturday at least. Probably won't be able to swing both with work though.

Alright!! Should be a corker for Patterson's birthday. The Big 5-0.

Tyler, you can crash @ my place if you get in a pinch.

I'll be there for Saturday, hopefully. Might try Ben's this time around since George Pelecanos mentions it in a few of his books.

I can't figure out how to buy tickets to this show either.

The DBT pre-sale worked just fine. Tix were available in the morning starting at 10.

Odd that the show doesn't show up on the 930 Club website or on its TicketFly website...?

I'm assuming they'll have links on both around / by 10am today (that is when everything seems to be going on sale to the general public)...

At least i hope.

OK, so I guess its not at 10am today...
Spoke with a TicketFly Rep over the phone, not on sale yet...
Also, email from 930 stating that the shows "haven't been announced yet"...

Odd if you ask me.

Indeed. I just went to the website, where they now have the shows listed. Clicking on the link tells you the shows go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m.

Bought a single for Sat, figure Metro (the subway) is open 'til 3am. Would love to go again Sun, but Metro shuts down at midnight so I'm not seeing how it could be feasible unless other have suggestions.

I got tickets for both nights. Lots of people are planning to go on Saturday night. Can't find a single person to go on Sunday night. If you see me standing by myself on the rail in front of Cooley on Sunday night, say hello!

Just get there an hour before the doors open and introduce yourself to the front of the line.
Of course now that you have posted a picture, they will find you.

That's just about exactly where my people and I are gonna set up, you see a dude in a Game of Thrones t-shirt it's probably me.

I still haven't received my tickets in the mail and I ordered them on Jan. 16. WTF?!

With all these Wire and Game of Thrones references, I'm getting pretty pumped for this show. I'm hoping Lester gets a ticket for Saturday and he brings McNulty and Bunk with him. Leave the dragons at home, the 930 Club gets pretty toasty as it is with a sell out show.

Fire cannot harm a Trucker.

OR, if you don't like that....

He's not a khaleesi, he's a Cooley!
