Latest Update On Big To-Do Vinyl Problems

Concerning Vinyl Defects (an update):
YES, we are still working on replacing the defective vinyl copies.
Thanks for your patience. Believe me, we are very eager to get this
past us.
As far as the time frame,
We just approved the new test pressing this week.
This time, we brought in extra ears, including some of the earliest
people to complain about the issue.
Everyone has signed off on the new one (it sounds great).
Now it is at the manufacturer, so it’s kinda out of our hands as to
how long it will take, but hopefully they will get it done ASAP.

As for what to expect, we will (as far as I know) replacement discs in
plain sleeve so you can replace the copy in your cover.
You’ll get to keep the defective one as a souvenir.

Thanks for the concern someone mentioned about it costing us.
Yes it is, as we approved the defective one so we’re eating a lot of
the cost, but our main concern is making it right to our supporters.
We have been cut some slack along the way by the other involved
parties and we certainly appreciate their help.
ATO has been super supportive and helpful. (THANKS!)

Now we’re hopefully in the homestretch in putting all of this behind
us so we can get on to better things (like Rock Shows).

Good idea. This is the only one I dont have(other than AAW and Killers and Stars, and not sure either were released on vinyl).

Orders are scheduled to ship the week of June 1, 2010.

Any update on this? I really would like to have this on vinyl. I talked to my local record shop and the current release date in their computer says January 2011 which they said generally means it got pushed back and will probably not get released.

Website says that it's now shipping the week of June 18th. I'm really eager to get my hands on it, but I'm sure it will be worth the wait....

I received this in an e-mail a little over an hour ago.

As you all know the Big To-Do vinyl issues have been quite an ordeal for us but we are happy to announce that the the first batch of Big To-Do Vinyl is done and it sounds incredible!! In order to get it out to you ASAP we are going to ship it as it comes in. The first batch should be here in a few days and we will start sending replacement copies to those who requested one right away. Please know that not all vinyl is done so everyone will not receive as quickly as others but REST ASSURED THAT EVERYONE WHO HAS EMAILED US REQUESTING A NEW COPY WILL RECEIVE A NEW COPY. As soon as the next batch comes in the next shipment will go out and once all replacement copies have been sent we will announce an date that vinyl will be available in stores.

Again, we can not thank you all enough for your support as we work to make our vinyl right. It is very important to us that you are happy and what we put out is of high quality so we really appreciate you being patient as we work to make things right. We promise it will be worth the wait!!

I just got an email today stating it was being shipped out today! I can't wait. It listed everything I ordered when I purchased the album, so I hope they don't accidentally send me everything again. I'm so grateful they remade these for their fans.

Real question is--- do I frame or make the old copy a bowl??

I responded the the email that was sent out to us asking for our information with 30-40 minutes after it was sent out on Mar 25. But I have yet to receive a shipping notification or anything....hope I get mine.

Yes, I have NOT received mine yet. BUT, I was switching jobs and e-mails at the time of the "report you have a problem" time period and couldn't even get them my order number. I just told them I bough the most expensive package, gave my name, address and what credit card I used etc....and my new e-mail. Never heard a peep back...
