CooleyGirl....we have been to the Bull & Castle before. Have a couple 2-3 Guinness for us and wish Irish Johnny Happy Happy! I think I remember a deep fried candy bar of some sort on the menu also? Have a good time at The Rock Show.

Nice work on the countdown, dogstar. Good stuff.

Should be getting close to showtime by now...

Really enjoyed tonight, great start to the tour. Highlights tonight were Box of Spiders with story beforehand, Hearing Jimmy Loud and, above all, Jay Gonzalez. The man was on fire tonight.

So lucky to have 5 more nights of this!

Yes, 11 which is standard in Europe. Doors were meant to be 7 but it was 7:30 before the room was opened. Soundcheck over run.

Curfew in Glasgow tonight is 11pm. That soundcheck better not overrun tonight!!
I'm not sure of the mechanics of these things, but it's slightly worrying that all the gear has to get over the Irish Sea to Scotland in less than 12 hours probably, rather than travel a few hundred miles by road which is normally the case when they hit the UK. As the crow flies Dublin to Glasgow is only 200 miles, but it's the logistics of getting it over the water in that short space of time that's making me nervous :D

I've been to shows in Mainland Europe that started after midnight. I suspect this to be some local regulation. Perhaps union?

They should start earlier then. A 17 song set for fans who only get to see the band every few years just seems cruel.

No shit! They played 26 when I saw them, and it seemed over too quick.

It was a rocking show. They played fantastic and Jay was absolutely KILLING IT! Great to hear Love Like This and Box of Spiders. The only negative things I can think of Cooley was forgetting the words to MUEO and that the show was WAY too short. Bit of a bummer since we travelled from Sweden and this was the only gig on the tour we are able to go to. I gotta say that Hearing Jimmy Loud sounded awesome live. I was somewhat distracted by the elderly pogoing Guinness fueled- and spraying dude going boing boing into us through the whole friggin' song but it sounded great. Get Downtown was awesome too, Women Without Whiskey, Lookout Mtn, Where The Devil..all Ace bunny killer. Natural light was a Little anti-climatic as an encore considering we only got two..I was ready to rock out by then. Give me Marry Me or Get on The Plane damnit! Let there be some ROCK! Overall great show anyways and Cooley was throwing shapes all night like the guitar god he is. ;)
