I'm still trying to decide if I'm staying home for the big blowout the weekend of Dec. 6. If I don't, anyone flying into Little Rock early enough for the Florence show could easily talk me into a road trip out and back for this one. I still haven't made a solo Cooley show, dammit.

Lurleen has never seen Cooley solo but we've already committed to the Holiday Hang Out in Little Rock. We're in a pickle but I just don't see how we make this these.

The Florence show is the fifth. The Little Rock thing is the sixth through the eighth. If you've got the time off from work, it's theoretically doable. Florence to Little Rock is a five-hour drive, max.

(And speaking of the Little Rock thing, when are they going to announce who's playing what days? I'm still trying to decide whether to stay in town for it. If the best bands--by which I mean "the bands I want to see"--are on the eighth, that tilts me somewhat toward not staying.)

According to the Glory Fires website, they are playing Friday Dec 6th at the Holiday Hangout, then they have a show the following night scheduled in Huntsville, AL. Not sure about any other bands.

Has anyone successfully gotten tickets for the Gasa Gasa show this Saturday? When trying to order online through frontgate, you get the message "Presale Sold Out, check with venue for tickets." A friend went by the venue tonight and the guy said that Gasa Gasa doesn't have any more tickets available, but that "there are plenty of tickets left -- order through frontgate online." I've never had so much trouble buying tickets for a show before.
