If anyone wants a forum that does nothing but blow sunshine up the band's ass, the DBT Facebook page is probably more your speed
And I knew when I woke up Rock N Roll would be here forever

I think there is a difference between outright bashing a musician/band and not liking someone's songs or discussing the negative aspects they bring to the table.

For example I think Shonna is a great musician and like her background vocals. Other than Where's Eddie I think her lead vocals missed the mark and her original songs never did a thing for me. When she sang one of her songs live, many times it killed the momentum of the show. I prefer having Matt Patton in the band.

And now getting back to the Ziggy's shows....I sure hope some recordings show up soon! I'm really looking forward to listening to these shows again.

This nails it. If you're not getting personal whatever your opinion is it's ok. Granted that's a fine line walk but I don't see it crossed here too often.
We call him Scooby Do, but Scooby doesn’t do. Scooby, is not involved

Highlight of weekend: coming out of lurker person presence and FINALLY meeting some fellow 3DD folks. Was great to actually meet Uncle Rickey and CooleyGirl after seeing them at pretty much every DBT show we have ever been to. Thanks for being so kind and introducing us around UR (Luke). Also met Joshn and his wife Jeannette (SC Redhead....kindred name, spirit and redhead). Met OneBeltLoop and LoneWolf (who I apparently get confused w Mr Swamp....sorry about that....I need to meet y'all both at once to get unconfused). It was great to meet y'all! If I forget stuff we talked about the next time I see you, or totally just got names wrong, I apologize: please blame above where I mentioned direct access to bar!! :P

It was so great meeting you too! I'm glad we had a chance to meet, finally! I hope we'll see you at another show soon.

Thanks to all of you who gave me birthday greetings and especially to those of you who bought me birthday drinks (that includes you Sunday folks, too!). And to the bartender (Chip!) who told CooleyGirl, when she was buying me a birthday shot, "Is that for Sarah? She's gonna a need a lime."

Most especially to CooleyGirl, who sent a request backstage for "Daddy Needs a Drink" because she knows I've been chasing it live since it came out. CG and UR - I couldn't ask for better friends, and you two come with such a great sound track.

Two more thank yous - to Tyler who was so kind, particularly for going out of his way to get me to the airport yesterday, and to the special group of folks who sang "Happy Birthday" to me late late that night....you're the best.

Ha ha, yes, that was hysterical about the bartender. I swear that happened, you can't make this stuff up!

So glad they played "Daddy Needs a Drink". A huge thanks to my sources who got the request to Patterson, and of course to Patterson himself for playing it! It was fun seeing it with that special guitar he uses for Birthday Boy and Girls Who Smoke.

We had fun (as always) hanging out with you OBL, aka, the other curly haired Sarah who always stands up front.

We had a blast hanging out with everyone, actually, it is half the fun of going to DBT shows now. The band and crew never disappoint, and we've made so many wonderful friends, it's amazing.

We were bummed we couldn't make it for Fri night, but I'm happy we were there on Sat and Sun. It was a crazy, whirlwind trip, spending more time on the train and in the car than we did in either town, but it sure was worth it!

Honestly, I don't know as I don't have the files. I've been working on some video projects. With my imminent retirement in December, I should have more time for this stuff. I'd suggest pm'ing me in January
