Nuci's Fundraiser Results, 2013

Post by CooleyGirl »

Thank you to each and every person who contributed to the Nuci's Fundraiser this year.
For obvious reasons, we and the folks at Nuci's decided against making a special announcement on stage at the 40 Watt.

I'm pleased to announce the total. We had $6400 at the time we made the ceremonial check, but it actually wound up being over $7000 by the end of the weekend. We're so happy we could help Nuci's!

The ceremonial check was on display at Nuci's during the auction, and Matt Patton was kind enough to pose for a picture with myself, Mark Lynn and Big Tom, the 3 of us representing 3DD.

Thanks again!

Double damn! That's fantastic!! Well done! :D

For those who don't remember, that's well over double last year's total.

Sometime last month I went online and made a very modest donation to Nuci's. I mean really, really modest. Like barely in the double digits-modest. But even still, today when I came home and checked the mail, I found a handwritten "Dear David" thank you note. How nice is that? I can only think of one other charitable cause that has ever done that, and that was a local charity that my family has a very personal connection to. But Nuci's Space doesn't know me at all. Pretty classy stuff.

Awesome.

As promised, I will be contributing art projects to next years auction... They are already in the pipeline

If when finished, they prove popular, I can always do some smaller pieces to be sold for Nucis before the auction or for those who can't attend.
