Re: 3 Dimes T-shirts
I know there have been so many suggestions so far, some good, some not so much, so here's on more
front: 3DD (in whatever graphic is chosen)
back: I Ain't Got No Good Intentions (or even We Ain't Got No Good Intentions)
front: 3DD (in whatever graphic is chosen)
back: I Ain't Got No Good Intentions (or even We Ain't Got No Good Intentions)
Son, this ain't a dream no more, it's the real thing

I don't. It was done as a joke and I would be embarrassed for people to be wearing it on a t-shirt.
Sorry you feel that way Zip. The quick careless nature of that sketch is exactly what I like about it. That was a 9B,3DD moment in time that we all enjoyed.
I like the new drawings, and will be in for whatever is chosen, but the new ones just feel like the difference between out of control, live music, and slick studio music. I know I always like live better...

who is working on the crotchless panty design?
It's in the prototype field testing stage. the biggest isue is finding room for the guitar logo AND the 3DD one. At this stage they're crotchelss in front, but granny knickers in back.
I've never taken a pissbreak during a DBT show but if I had it would have been during Dancing Ricky.
Re: 3 Dimes T-shirts
Have we picked a color? I'd prefer it not be candy apple red if we're still voting. A darker brooding color is needed. I love sketch (#2) and Ain't got no good intentions on the back. Guiter should maybe be kiltered to the right, as if it were being played. It might make it easier to read the names. Place 'Ain't Got No' horizontally on the upper left side of the guitar, and 'Good Intentions' horizontally on the right underside. Just a thought. Sign me up for an XL.

I was envisioning it like the old 9B shirt, with whatever graphic y'all choose on the front and "Ain't Got No Good Intentions" on the back. Simple, elegant, classic. Just an option, of course

Well I'm glad your not going with the joke one. But I like the idea. I'm sure Zip can do a better version of that concept.
Of the new ones I like the middle one the best. But kinda reminds me of King's of Leon's Youth and Young Manhood.

I like the top outline without faces, for what it is worth. I think something simple like that on the front of a black and white baseball tee with the 3DD logo on the back would be neat. Maybe stick the spelled out web address underneath on the back?
I would like to get on a list for (1) medium and (1) extra-large too, please.

Well if we go with a crotchless thong, we could put DBT vertically down the front and have it tie on the sides in red like the BTD, have them like pom poms on the side, just a like a bike

Sketch 2 with guitar and Ain't Got no Good Intentions on back would be a great shirt, I think.

Re: 3 Dimes T-shirts
In my humble opinion, I think we should have one style of a unisex shirt and possibly, if feasible, offer the shirt in 1 0r 2 colors. We should make this as easy as possible. Remember, we are not in the t-shirt business and the shirts won't magically make themselves. There are a lot of kind, generous folks on here who will make this happen, and are happy to do so, but let's not get greedy. OK, getting off my soapbox now.

I don't think anyone is asking for one of a kind shirts or any thing, just giving opinions on the one final design.
So far I like the idea of one of GTF's web address graphics on front, and "Aint got no good intentions" on the back.

Re: 3 Dimes T-shirts
oh no, I didn't mean it quite like that. I just meant in the end, if we could agree on a unisex shirt in either a basic t-shirt, v-neck or baseball jersey style. I just thought it would be tough to make some t-shirts, some v-necks, some baseball jerseys, etc.
Absoultely agree we are in the voicing opinions stage, just sharing my 2 cents.

That's a good idea! But I'm down for whatever is decided by the ones putting together the design and production.

I like the idea of baseball jerseys too.

Re: 3 Dimes T-shirts
The "voting" is still open, right?
I love baseball shirts myself and would love a dbt/3dd one.
I still REALLY don't like the guitar idea (not the guitar part, the names part). It just seems anti-3dd to me. I think it's fair to say that for the most part the people on this board try to be open, welcoming, inclusive and try to keep the board relatively free of the insider, "i've been here longer than you" bullshit that mars so many boards. Any number of "newbies" have expressed their appreciation for finding the board to be just that way. To me, this shirt concept sends the opposite message.
