Get something more thoughtful. More useful. I suggest water-resistant eye makeup.

I love my Patterson & the Screwtopians shirt that has the lyrics to "Pride of the Yankees" on the back and I wouldn't mind something similar, maybe a shirt with the lyrics to "Ever South" or "What It Means" or perhaps a shirt with various lines from the new album.

Since this is the Darkened Flag Tour, we need a damn DBT flag to fly above our heathen compounds.

DBT Bic Lighters. I don't even smoke, but when I'm at gas station and I see a Bic with something cool on it I usually buy it. I'd buy a case of lighters with Cooley Birds on them. I've got a few Lucero match books, but a lighter would be more useful.

Short sleeved, collared shirts in the style of bowling shirts or hawaiian shirts. Style wise, not pattern wise.

There is so much cool stuff to buy, check it out! Huge shout out to Jim for listening to our suggestions. There are now lighters, record tote bags, a wireless Bluetooth speaker with Wes Freed Red Rocks artwork on it, the winter knit caps are back, ladies tank tops & more. American Band is available at merch now if you're wondering.

I have long wanted a shirt like this with Cooleybirds. There is a place in Austin where they do shirts like this and I have been so tempted to ask them to make me one, but I know they wouldn't since they don't control the art. I have the shirt below, though in a different color

I have the Sasquatch with a watch shirt as well as one with scorpions (animal, not band!), in addition to the aforementioned laser cats

I've always been surprised that they don't do Fatheads for rock stars/musicians!

I'm at Disney World with my wife and kids, and since I love them I agreed to dress up as the moose from the movie "Frozen." My wife bought a moose hat and asked that I wear a brown tee shirt; the only one I could find reads "Mama Ran Off with the Drive By Truckers!" I quite liked my "outfit"!

That's one cool ass moose!

I have a size xl men's DBT Muscle Shoals 3/4 sleeve baseball style tee shirt that I would like to send to a good home as it does not fit and is not my style. (Received as a gift). Send me a PM with your address and I will mail it to you..if you'd like to make a corresponding Nuci's Space donation, that might be nice. Cheers and see you at the Vic in Chicago in February!

How about that, the two new apparel items are a take on the HeAthens sticker and a hoodie with a Freed cat

This isn't specific to DBT, but it's damn good: http://www.npr.org/sections/allsongs/20 ... MusicREDEF

Hey bands, why t-shirts matter

Listen to the 6 minute podcast.

- Don't be scared to sell
- Bands already sell (their tunes on stage), so selling shirts is no different
- A little merchandising goes a long way
- Selling tees is not necc. about making money; it is about creating a longer-term connection. Creating a relationship with the fans.

I'd love a coffee mug with DBT on one side and the Cooley bird or It's Great to Be Alive on the other.
