Once again, Good Lord willin' and the creek don't rise!

No flights to book this year. if we're coming we're driving.

Me too. Plus Courtyard booked

Early indications are that there may be a fairly sizeable European invasion this year.

Airfares are sucking the life out of me right now between Turkey Day, Christmas and DBT. Really high.

I might have to make this a week long trip on my scooter since I have to return a briefcase in Akron, Ohio.

I'll be in Georgia on Sunday for another engagement, so I'd love to see the NFC Championship game be the late one that day. In Atlanta, against The Beloved.

I lucked out three weeks ago and found airfare on Travelocity for $137/round trip from O'Hare to Hartsfield. Friday- Monday. I'll miss the Thursday show, however figured that I could spend the same on a nice dinner and some martinis that I could do for the airfare to the ATL.

What's the DBT price for a room at the Courtyard? Trying to decide whether to use points or not.

I'm in for all three nights. Bringing the wife along for her first homecoming trip. Just booked a room at the courtyard ($80/night) and we will be driving up from the coast of Alabama. Now we just need to find someone to watch our kids!!

In for sure, just need to wait and see if we can make all 3 nights this year or only Friday and Saturday like last year before I book a room. We really liked the Courtyard last time & it's close to everything so probably staying there again this year. Can't wait!

We will talk books a couple weeks before the shows so I know what to bring. Leave a little room in your suitcase.

I'd urge everyone to book their Courtyard rooms now; I think the DBT deal will fill up fast.

Also, sure wish I could go to that Tipitina's show...I need to get back to NOLA.

I don't think we've ever met before although we've been at some of the same shows. We'll have to make a point to meet with you guys for cocktail at the Flicker or RPM's or something.
