Have a great Homecoming guys and girls. I was lucky enough to be there last year with SRV, coming over from the UK for 3 mega nights I shall never forget. Cant make it this year, had I known what a s***t year this started as I would have been there with you guys drinking beer and hearing those classic DBT songs. I,ll never forget Angels and Fuselage from the 3rd night!
MInd you, I will be so p*****d off if the boys do Why Henry Drinks or Steve McQueen, bound to happen with Alabama Ass Whupping due out.

From my balcony I have a bird's-eye view of the back door of the 40 Watt. They were sound-checking Goode's Field Road about an hour ago, the super funky version with the nasty guitar that I love so much. Gonna drink some wine, have some dinner, then rock. See all you good people at the show.

We finally made it. Trip down from Raleigh was horrid, terrible traffic jam north of Charlotte due to construction & then a torrential downpour for most of the rest of the trip. Glad to finally be in Athens again!
