I find this thread absolutely hysterical. LotM, you're awesome! Like a guy napping in a bunker while all hell breaks loose outside and when he comes up for air all he can say is "Wha happened?".

I mean no disrespect of course. I think you're lucky to have missed this particular tempest in a tea pot.
We call him Scooby Do, but Scooby doesn’t do. Scooby, is not involved

Classic!!!

Anyhow, I read this article today about who gets to go to these private concerts and even for a non-political guy like me, I am proud of DBT for cancelling. These shows were not even open to delegates. You had to donate at least $75,000 to Romney to get inside. This wasn't some private party open to convention goers, their kids, or high school and college Republican groups. Only the fattest of the fat cats, the most inside insiders, get a ticket.

He certainly did. That's a great article and nicely sums up why some of us were disappointed when the gig was annouced. My respect for Third Eye Blind has entererd a new level, although I still think thay kind of suck, musically speaking.

This whole hustle is peppered with music bits meant to wed policies like forced births of rapist's babies and minority voter suppression to song.

That's a Bud Limish musical moment there, Beebs.

How about Stephen Jenkins as the frontman of Marky Mark's rival Steel Dragon tribute band in Rockstar.
