Yeah, Monday is going to hurt
Re: DeKalb, IL 7/11
Juan will be there but actually Justin from Minnesota is the worst offender when it comes to using your beer hand for your rock hand. everybody knows you throw up the devil horns and the fist pump with one hand and hold your beverage with the other but some guys really struggle to maintain this as the night goes on. Juan and Justin from Minnesota are two such guys.
i vividly remember Charleston '07 night two. me and Justin were ordering beer from the bar by the case, literally hanging over the rail up front with joints hanging out of our mouths and none of the hired help had a problem with us. Justin starts with the beer showers and the bouncers immediately push to the front and tell him that if he doesn't stop he's gone.
precious memories, how they linger.

I know. Planning to leave the hotel at 6 go home shower and be in the office by 8. We'll see how that works out. I may have to pull the running a bit late card.
Re: DeKalb, IL 7/11
nowhere on this thread do i see a post by The Drifter. shocking, saddening, and deeply disturbing. hard to imagine this show without him destroying his liver somewhere in the bowels of Cooleyville.

we have a quality contingent on hand for this one. everything seems to be pointing towards a liver, eardrum and wallet destroying extravaganza.

Good to see you Drt! Thought maybe you gave up on us. see you Sun.
btw, American Minor was the first Truckers opener I ever saw. Did not set the bar very high...
Yeah, American Minor were terrible! And Retardo bought one of their albums on that leg.
I'll be at the show. Hopefully will get into town between 3 and 4. I'll be ready to booze. I live 30 minutes east of DeKalb but I still plan on staying at the Best Western. No sense in doing it, if I'm not gonna do it right.

I have a feeling your wife might need to call you in sick, with a bad case of the brew flu.

Sorry Drt. I don't frequent the boards as much as I once did. No worries, I'll be there.
By the way, I texted you a few days ago about this show with the number for you that Juan gave me at the Vic show. Did it change again?? I can't keep up.

Re: DeKalb, IL 7/11
The Otto's web site says Sunday hours are 6:30 - 1:00, so I am assuming that's when we can pick up our tickets and go in. Or does somebody have better information? Me and the Mrs. will see you all in Cooleyville-- no time for pre-game tailgating for us. Then it's back to work bright and early on Monday morning. Ouch.

A'right kids, I'm out the door. The map sites all say 8 1/2 hrs to Dekalb, so I'm thinking around 7. Should put me in town between 2 -3:00. The Best Western has no idea what their in for....

Beantown, there is nothing stealthy about this group, as the Best Western is soon to find out.
