Looking for a ticket for Friday night....figured this weekend would be enough, silly me. Unfortunately, it's sold out. Let me know if anyone has an extra to sell.

For those who were there last year - what's the scouting report on the Ga. Theater?

How's sound on the rail? (For the record, this would be one one real gripe against the Peel - the PA mains are way out to the sides, and the one little speaker wedge they had up front was basically inaudible in the middle of the rail).

Any thing special I needed to know about getting in? Just the standard line up?

How good is the climate control? Forecast doesn't look too bad - mid 80's but still.

Any good new restaurants in Athens? My last visit was Jan 2011.

We thought the GA. Theater was top notch, all around. We were center rail last year and I thought the sound was phenomenal. Big ass fans...similar to The Peel. As far as restaurants go... I'm not really aware of anything special that is new but Craig did take us to a little hole in the wall Tai place that was excellent. Can't remember the name now but it is right up the hill and across the street from Toppers...teh strip club which apparently I did make note of. Anyway, see ya there! :D
Never going back to Buttholeville. (Good luck with that!)

As a guess, Flicker.

If I do any, I'll be pre-gaming at The Roadhouse. Not that anyone gives a shit where I'll be, but if you're looking for a bar to hang out in, it's very close, it's dark and dirty like I like my bars, and it's usually got a fantastic playlist.

Thanks to all who worked on amassing just about anything we needed to know in one simple spot! We look so forward to meeting all of our fellow 3DD's---it's going to be a great time!

I have 2 tickets for each night I can't use, I really need to sell them. I also have a room for Thurs and Fri night at the Indigo from Hotwire. I payed about $90 a night but would take less than that. I know hotwire is nonrefundable but maybe the Indigo would transfer the reservation.

Day Two in Athens

Craig's show last night was alsum! Had about fifteen 3DDer's at The Flicker last night. That place is a neat little venue and the bartender has a Polish catering business. Had I known that ahead of time I would have put in an order for pierogies.

The only tapers I know of so far are myself and Mark Lynn. I don't have streaming capability, not sure if Mark does, but I'd say probably no stream.
