Smitty, been listening all week and loving it. Thanks bro! Is the Thanksgiving Filter from solo PH Alley Katz (Richmond) in maybe '07? If so, was there and loved the intimate setting. Wrinkle Neck Mules (two of them) opened - great band, btw.

Crowd was a little chatty throughout, which Patterson noted (with class, vs. the arrogance I saw from Tweedy at a recent Wilco show in Richmond), but it was a blast. Any of you who've seen the rare-as-hell Cooley solo shows, hats off to ya.

Nice work! What a great song... That "Sgt. Buckley's boots full of water" line had been driving me crazy. I don't get the reference, but it sounds ok.

Jason really should clear all this up by releasing this as a bonus track on the new album.
