they were mostly back a bit, in the shade - me & mine were closest, right up by the left speaker. Patterson seemed to have a really good time, lots of stories, seemed to have lots of friends that drove in for the show. Cooley Dale was macking on Ava (his daughter) - I gotta teach him to stay away from them older women, lol.

Spent the whole day there basically at the park and took a walk thru the gardens. It was a great Saturday that ended a little early for me. I missed the last couple of songs of Patterson's set because my daughter pretty gave out, but she did enjoy for the most part her first concert experience I'm pleased to say. I was surprised at how few people were actually there.

I was wearing a blue bandana and was right up by the left speaker, had a couple really tattooed guys and my wife and two kids with me... my son's face was painted like Spiderman...

Hey Smitty, my girlfriend and I were behind you guys during Patterson's set. Her two daughters (both wearing tie dye shirts) were running around and playing with your son before Patterson took the stage. I suspected that it was you after I thought I heard you call your son Cooley, but wasn't sure I had heard you right. Great set by Patterson, Roger Allen Wade and Lee Baines and a great art festival as well. I've been a Howard Finster fan for about 15 years now and it was my first time getting up there.

* Or at least buy a few dozen to sell for 10 bucks?
I should've - they were left over "Murdering Oscar" tour shirts with "Pride of the Yankees" lyrics on the back.
