colodogdoc, I was at the Sat Panic show. Cool to see them in the acoustic format but I'm still going to miss Sunday Panic at Red Rocks this June..
And I'm still terribly upset I'm going to miss the CO Truckers run!

But he lives in LA. I'll be kind and call it an uphill battle.

so true..
and thanks Peter and Bovine---too kind and totally not true but I'll accept the compliment
(my brother's 2 favorite bands are Tool and Our Lady Peace...he's newly divorced and trying to get back into things...into ANYTHING..hasn't really thought about having fun in about 8 years so this should be a good way to get him going)

It still looks like my making the Fillmore show is a long shot. I did just score comp tickets for the Tahoe show though, so I got that going for me.

I'm going to LA and the Fillmore, but I'll be starting that week in Reno
so unless I hit the big one Tahoe is out.

That's my plan. It will make it easy to find each other,
and for Penny's brother to find us. We want stories.

We were going to go, SF to Tahoe was a perfect combo,
but it's the Breweries Anniversary and St. Patricks day to boot,
so we gotta run back home after SF so my girl can work.
Seriously thinking about heading to Eugene on Sunday though, anyone from here going?

So I am officially in for the LA show. Please advise if there is a meetup planned or where one should pregame. I am running solo and have not spent a ton of time in that part of LA. All information is appreciated.

I will be bringing some Jacksonville, Fl Dirty South Trucker love to the Fillmore on the 16th. Prolly be sorting the new Hood Cooley shirt! Can't wait to see a west coast show. This will be my 11th show in the last 14 months.....if you include a solo Cooley show in the mix.

I wouldn't get too worked up about the San Francisco show. After all, the Fillmore is kind of meh, and San Francisco? boring.
Plus who is this Drive-By Truckers group that seems to be getting people all excited? The 18 times I've seen them in seven different states
hasn't really done that much for me. Not to mention all of the weirdo's that follow them around. Who needs it?
O.K., me for one. Bad. Trying to keep the old blood pressure in the reasonable range.

A local radio station is advertising the Tahoe show...using "Easy on Yourself" as the song. Ruh roh...someone didn't do their homework. Purely aside from the Jason issue, isn't that possibly the least representative song they could have chosen?

Well, they should have just put on "Lisa's Birthday" or "You and Your Crystal Meth" to give a better representation
That's pretty funny, though. Some people just don't know...
Re: West Coast 2012 dates
I am doing the SD show as well as LA, combine this with seeing Jason on St Pattys in Chattanooga, thats going to make for a good week!!

Re: West Coast 2012 dates
Hey everybody - long time board reader/1st time poster. Super fucking stoked for the DBT Fillmore show next week. Will be my first rock show since having a kid in December. Fond memories of last March's GoGo Boots Fillmore show. I love when band's book a tour to just tour and not promote a specific album. We could have a nice, varied setlist peppered with songs from every era/album.
