Looks like a great venue for a rock show and the Felice Brothers put on a good show.

I'm in.

In. Thought we might have another thread for this, but I couldn't find it. RevMatt, are you coming for this? I had in my head that you were...

I am coming. I haven't bought my tickets because the website will not process an order if you use a gift card. But I don't think this one is going to sell out. I may be wrong and end up paying scalper's prices, but I plan on going.

Scalper? Did you call me a scalper? Listen, gentlemen, I perform a service here, and the service costs money.

Been holding off on pulling the trigger given my four-hour drive. Frankly, I can't imagine it selling out, and hesitate to cop a cheap motel room for fear of a cancellation a la the Pennsylvania show last spring. But then, haven't been to a rock show since the Wellmont, and feel the need. Still, I've got my fingers crossed that the announcement of a NYC show before year's end will save me the schlep.

I don't think this one will be cancelled because Ithaca is a college town and college is in session. Plus, The Felice Bros. are a draw. The Scranton gig was cancelled for good reason. It was a huge theater, the show wasn't selling and there was no show the day before or the day after. Ithaca is maybe a four hour drive for me but hotels are cheaper in that part of the country.

I am in for this show. I have taken 11/17 off work so I don't have to get up early the day after the long drive home from Ithaca.

I'm in for a long drive through the Catskills...and the rock show in Ithaca. Would love to meet some of you other die-hards for dinner and/or the proverbial pre-game. Please let me know of any big to-dos.

Route 17 through the Catskills is one of the most picturesque drives in the state of NY. If this show was in September instead of November I would definately bring the bike.

Getting ready for a rainy drive to Ithaca. Anybody fellow travelers interesting in copping a meal before the rock show? I found what looks to be a good Thai place a black from the theater (Taste of Thai at 216 E. State Street). But there also appears to be many nearby alternatives. Let me know. See you at the rock show.

I am planning on arriving early afternoon but that could change if I have another bout of insomnia tonight. I haven't scored a hotel room yet but figure there ought to be something reasonable nearby. Where is everyone else staying?

I booked the cheapest room I could find through expedia-- at the Meadow Court Inn-- for $67. It's slightly less than a mile from the venue. I just checked, and they still have rooms at that rate.

We're at the Super 8, which I think is near the Meadow Court. Just under a mile from the venue. We'll probably arrive mid-to-late afternoon. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Nothing like seeing your favorite band with your favorite people. Alsum night. I am in the hotel room eating Mac 'n cheese and drinking a Mexican Coke. I am about to crash. Want to make sure I didn't dream it all.

Will somebody please explain what y'all are talking about? If I'm gonna be jealous, and I am, I'd really like to know why.

From the setlist alone it sounds like a killer show, but what else?
