2&3 but Thursday is personally my favorite day and night. I think you gotta go all in.

Oh, and since this is the Athens thread, I'm also the guy who worked a reference to the Musee D'Orsay into a review of one of the Athens shows last year. :lol "

Hey BeanTownBubba, that was an awesome post!! It got quoted on Jenn's weekly email and that's how I found 3DD! :)

I am with you. There's no way I will get Mr. SCRed to NYE and Athens. However I am going to buy now and figure it out later. I may be forced out of "lurkdom" and meet some 3DD folks (either in DC and/or Athens).

I love me some DBT, vis a vis I will make it work!

I agree, the last two nights, which leaves you a day to recover (if you get MLK day off, and I do). PLUS WE CAN FINALLY MEET. Big bonus there, brother mollusk.

bubba, if I remember correctly, that is the review Clams accused you of pre-writing before the show. It was a pretty spectacular post.

For an old guy, Slip has a pretty good memory. In contrast to the young fella, ahem, ahem. OTOH, pleading ignorance kinda suits you, Clams.

And thanks for the kind words, slip.

I'm In for all three nights. This will be my first Homecoming run. Hopefully this will make up for my New Orleans disaster. I tried to convince Mrs. thedudeabides to make the trip. However she was not keen on leaving our kids for three nights. So I will be flying solo. Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday (12/29) to me!! I have the most awesome wife on the planet. Woo Hoo!!!

Need to get my tickets and book my flight and hotel. Jonicont's Primer thread will be a lot of help. Hopefully there is still room at the Courtyard. How far is the Courtyard from the Holiday Inn? I am planning to use the shuttle service from Atlanta and they do not drop off at the Courtyard.

There is a Holiday Inn Express just down the hill. And another approximately the same distance away a little further up Broad St. Either location is within stumbling distance.
Never going back to Buttholeville. (Good luck with that!)

Booked our room this morning at the Courtyard and while I was speaking to the manager she mentioned that they are quickly filling up for the weekend. I would urge anyone planning on staying there to reserve rooms ASAP.

Yeah i called this morning too and when I mentioned the dates, the guy said, "So you coming in for the Truckers Show?" I guess he'd already fielded a few other calls. Unfortunately I'm gonna have to wait a bit to buy my tix. I hope they don't sell out before i can buy. That would suck immensely.
