Speaking of missing guitars....
Curious what has happened to the custom "Cooley Bird" Baxendale? I've been to 6 shows this year and have not seen this one since Jan./Athens. Wondering what the story is with it?
Never going back to Buttholeville. (Good luck with that!)

I think Cooley only breaks it out for special occasions like ACL or the homecoming shows. They probably don't want to risk it walking off and ending up in some guy's basement next to that stolen stage backdrop.

I thought that too but then he didn't pull it out in Athens last week either... or at least not Friday night.

I doubt it leaves home very often. That's more than a guitar, it's a work of fine art.
