AC/DC’s 1980 concert film Let There Be Rock is finally making its way for the first time to DVD and Blu-ray on June 7, 2011.

December 1980, sophmore year of high school!!!! At the Bashton Gahden!!! Floor seats and some purple micro-dot, made for a very interesting night of ROCK-N-ROLL!!!!!

Cannons on the stage, my man Angus in his school boy uniform (not sure what the big deal is with the "school boy/girl" uniform thing, I don't get the attraction factor at all EW!!!! )

But they are still one of my top 3 BADASS hard-core, till your ears bleed band!!!!!!! cause I'm givin' the dog a bone.....
so what is it like living with your mommy again BWAHAHAHAHAH

Unless I'm missing the point somehow, I don't think so. Especially since they had an album (and song) called Let There Be Rock.

As for Angus wearing the schoolboy outfit, there was some debate over whether he should still wear it or not during their last tour (for Black Ice) and the decision to wear it won out. I don't recall exactly what the reasoning was but it may be because it's something that's always been very strongly connected to his onstage persona, so he went for it.

Eats, shoots and leaves.

Eats shoots and leaves.

Let there be "Rock Tour"

"Let There Be Rock" tour.

Leave your apples on my desk.

Ah, gotcha. English major here, so I know the difference. But if I payed that close attention to punctuation here I'd go crazy. ;)

Carry on.

I assure you, while the school GIRL cliche is undeniably established there is no "school boy thing". Every stripper in the world has a school girl outfit while I think Angus is the only dude wearing one and I do not believe its intended to be sexy.

Ah, AC/DC. Best of the dinosaur bands I've seen in recent years. Angus can wear whatever the fuck he wants, as long as he keeps shreddin' that axe.

It's a wonder he doesn't have whiplash. The first (and only) time I ever saw AC/DC in the late 70s, he never sat still for a second. If he wasn't bobbing his head up and down, he was spinning around on the floor.

Well the difference I see here is that she is undoubtedly about to do something rather naughty and he's about to rock the fuck out! Let There Be Rock, indeed!
We call him Scooby Do, but Scooby doesn’t do. Scooby, is not involved
