I think the gay fans line was a throwaway so he could say "it gets better." We probably spent a little too much energy on it. I'll put my guessimate of gay DBT fans at about 10%. You know why.

It was likely intentional and provacative for some reason I do not understand. It is a very random sounding comment, that I would imagine is far less applicable to DBT than most high selling pop artist out there today. I would really like to here his rationalization for that comment.
