At least they arent playing the same day as Kid Rock.

It may partially go against my musical common sense but I don't mind Kid Rock at all.

I used to like him better before he decided he was a country singer, but I saw him live during the Devil tour (right after Joe C died) and I was pretty impressed.
And I knew when I woke up Rock N Roll would be here forever

I have cousins in the Orlando area. This might be doable. The tickets - $80 per day -- are very reasonable. It looks like DBT is on Stage 2 while Lucero is on Stage 3. I hope the promoters know enough not to put the two bands on at the same time. There is a lot of overlap between their fanbases.
I have nowhere else to go. There is no demand in the priesthood for elderly drug addicts

I saw him '04, ironically the night I first saw DBT. (Steve Forbert>Chris Knight>DBT>Skynyrd>Kid Rock was the schedule)
Wasn't a bad show, but I've never seen so many assholes in one place at one time.
E quindi uscimmo a riveder le stelle.

Ain't that the truth. Seldom have I been ashamed of being born male and white, but I was that night. My god what a collection of cretins. I thought his live show was kinda weak also.
Keep calm and have a cigar

I've been thinking about this for a while now, and maybe I should make this a separate thread, but:
Everybody Needs Love is a better single than Used To Be A Cop because would you really want to be the band known best for "I'm paying for the house that bitch lives in now"?
The sooner we put those assholes in the grave&piss on the dirt above it, the better off we'll be

Saturday looks solid. Sunday I'd go if I lived in Orlando, but I wouldn't travel more than about an hour for it.

Yeah, I heard the band is looking for a third guitarist.

Re: DBT The Citrus Bowl November 12
So last night I saw the first commercial for this Orlando Calling Festival. They started mentioning each act and then flash a picture of said act so I sit up on the edge of the couch waiting for it--Bob Seger, Kid Rock, The Killers, The Pixies, The Doobie Brothers, here it comes, here it comes! Are they actually going to have DBT on my TV? and then the commercial ends with "and many more" WTF? I went into a rant about the fucking idiots who put this commercial together; How the hell do they expect anybody to buy any tickets to their stupid festival if they dont know DBT is gonna be there?
My wife of course thinks this is hilarious and now refers to DBT as "And many more" in fact she asked me if i was going to listen to "and many more" on the drive into work this morning.
I dont think that is very funny.

The exact same thing would happen in my house, Gator. Except that my son would've sarcastically added "What do you expect dad, you're obsessed with a band that nobody's heard of." And then my daughter would roll her eyes at me and telepathically call me a loser.

Must be the standard kid answer - thats what I get from my 21 year old son all the time. I have to give my 18 year old daughter credit though. After being trapped in the car with me each day to and from school with a mini DBT fest going on, she has learned to tolerate them and I even caught her singing along a couple times.

I just want to stay in that better time and place....
