T-shirts and bumper stickers

Post by oilpiers »

How many lines from DBT songs would make a great shirt or bumper stickers? At least 100. I think Cooley really has a great amount, especially considering his songs are about 30%.

"I used to hate the fool in me, but only in the morning
Now I tolerate him all day long."

Is like bringing flowers to your Mama and tracking dog shit all over the floor....

Your right though, you could pull a classic quote out of every Cooley song.

I used to have an awesome "18 Wheels of Love" trucker cap - don't know if it was 'authentic' or homemade, got it from a chick at my first DBT show.

Most of them are actually too long for a tshirt and way WAY too long for a bumpersticker, unless you truncate.

Right on. Cooley writes aphorisms, not slogans.

I remember when somebody made Hood/Cooley 08 Tshirts during the last election. They were pretty cool. Wonder if someone will make those for 2012......
I'd sure sport one. Better than the other options.....

The Secret to A happy ending is knowing when to roll the credits (ok, waaaay long for a bumper sticker but would be good on a shirt)

WTF. This thread sucks because for some reason some of these quotes are too "enlightening" to be on a shirt or bumper sticker? That is what I see from that response, and it makes absolutely no sense to me. "But I've been falling so long it's like gravity's gone and I'm just floating". Slogan, aphorism, whatever you want to call it, don't tell me this would not make a great t-shirt.I would take out the but.
