DBT Concert Poster collection

Post by bovine knievel »

I have been accumulating these for awhile. They have been acquired from various web sources, so many I can't tell you where. Click the link below to enjoy a slideshow.

Wow BK, what a great collection of cool posters. You must have made a significant investment in time and money building your library. Lots of ones I've seen before and even more that I haven't. I have a handful of the same ones that you have that I got from Punchgut, including the Firebird and the Rat Fink style posters. I love his stuff! And to think that he lives in Fargo, North Dakota, which to my knowledge isn't on the A-list of tour stops for a lot of bands. Very cool. Thanks for sharing.

Very cool. WHere are they displayed? I like the one with Carl Perkins' cadillac and also the one with DBT & Centromatic with the trees and moon.

No, I don't own all of them but I do have about a dozen or so DBT posters. I've been seeking out the digital copies of posters for various bands. The idea came to me while looking for album art for my bootleg recordings. If I acquire a bootleg for any band, I will load it into iTunes and use the appropriate poster as the album art. I'm a sucker for an organized digital music library.
