I'd say different vs. weird. Personally, the Zip-LTBR-People Who Died encore, while amazing every time, I think it was/is time to see what else can connect in the encore. Angels and Fuselage - yes. Buttholeville - yes. Other top 5 encore songs?

Smitty, I've only seen Keep on Smilin once (11/05 at Cat's Cradle); have you really heard that a bunch as an encore? Rest seem right on target and righteous!

Good ones!, Should have thought about one of the most obvious - The Living Bubba. I've also seen it as the first song.

Anyone ever seen LTBR first? I have not. Significant or not? 18's a great one, especially with "the rest of the story" - good call.

Really?

Of course I believe you, but that's shocking. Like Clams said in the thread about the Brooklyn Bowl, Patterson isn't at all above about getting into full maniac mode and whipping the mic around his head as if were herding cattle and lassoing them one by one. "PWD" isn't a favorite of mine, but I like it just because of how Patterson can get in to it. Especially, when he gives his guitar to someone. No telling what he'll do. :D

That is one of the great things about DBT. I've probably heard People Who Died 6 or 7 times (always in the encore), and loved it every time. My guess is there are a chunk of songs that you've seen multiple times that I've only caught once or twice.....or maybe never. DBT's audience is getting more and more diverse, both in age and musical tastes/experiences - I think they could mix it up even more and please both the hardcore followers and the newbies.

Just look at Neil.....

I'm no audiophile, but I can't think of a single complaint. Crowd noise was at a minimum, everything was clear - just do what you did tonight again tomorrow :) seriously, it sounded great.

Looks like it was a good time, too bad I missed it.

Very cool of the band to allow it, and very cool of Gordon and the Matador to see it through.

I just woke up and am feeling like I was at a show last night.
Only problem is I don't have my recording to listen to today if this tells you anything.

Don't change a thing.

P.S. Tell Matt not to change anything as well.

Had a great time last night along the "virtual rail". Special thanks to Gordon and Matt for their expertise. And to DBT -- the coolest band in the universe -- for allowing us this kind of access. Also, a special shout out to Bloodkin. The delivered a great set and inspired DBT to pull out all stops. Last night's show was a barn burner for sure.
