Re-name the DBT Albums

Thought it would be a fun exercise to see what people would come up with if they could re-name the DBT albums. You can use a song title, a lyric, or anything else you want.

*NOTE* I'm not implying anything is wrong with the titles as they are (okay, BTCD is a bit obtuse....)

Gangstabilly - Dance On My Own Grave
Pizza Deliverance - The Dirt Underneath
Southern Rock Opera - This Highway's Mean
Decoration Day - Heathens
The Dirty South - Something Else You Can't Believe
A Blessing and a Curse - Goodbye
Brighter Than Creation's Dark - To Deal With All the Beauty
The Big To-Do - After the Scene Dies
Go-Go Boots - Sometimes Late at Night

Wasn't "Heathens" the original name of "Decoration Day" until David Bowie released "Heathen" around the same time?

I really dislike the name "The Big To-Do", it just sounds amateurish. The Dirt Underneath would have been a great title for Pizza Deliverance.

Go Go Boots isnt terrible, but I think it gives people the wrong impression of that record. Go-Go Boots sounds too fun, I think its too upbeat for what really is a pretty dark record.

Gangstabilly is my least favorite album name. Dirty South is cool, but sounds a bit cliche, it works though. I dont know if I would change that one. I would probably leave the rest of them alone. But thats just me.

Brighter Than Creations Dark is actually my favorite. No particular reason why, I just love the way it sounds.

Heres my list, the asterisk's indicate that I would leave it alone, but if I were to change it....

Gangstabilly- Sandwiches for the Road
Pizza Deliverance- The Dirt Underneath
*Southern Rock Opera- Duality of the Southern Thing
*Decoration Day- Rock N Roll Means Well
*The Dirty South- Take it from a Crook
*A Blessing and a Curse- Space City
*Brighter Than Creations Dark- The Homefront
The Big To-Do- In a Muted Shade
Go-Go Boots- Sometimes Late at Night

I remember reading they were originally naming BTCD "The Home Front", but thought it sounded kinda generic; Wes Freed told them to name it what they want, but "Brighter than Creation's Dark" was what he was painting.

Semi-related, have we ever discussed renaming the band? Personally I love the name but if I'm recalling correctly, Patterson has expressed something less than love for the name now. If not Drive-By Truckers then what? CHJ?
