venturerichmond.com DBT will playing the Friday Cheers "signature summer concert series" on Friday June 10, 2011 at Brown's Island. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $10.00. Oh yessssssssss!

Anyone stayed in this area before and have a hotel recommendation? The Crown Plaza and/or Holiday Inn Downtown both look nice and are close.

If you stay at The Crown Plaza you can take the shoe leather express to and from Brown's Island. I think that's the closest hotel.

i stayed at the holiday inn one time & it's totally fine. i'm debating driving up for this one & if so, that's where i'm planning on staying.
