Who have thought...so Jason sang harmonies and played guitar, but didn't sing, right? can someone post the list of songs he was on stage for them?

Very unofficial, perhaps someone else can confirm/fix:

Heathens
Let There Be Rock
Buttholeville/StateTrooper
People Who Died

Patterson dedicated Hell No I Aint Happy to him.

That's so awesome! A couple of MMJ friends were there sending me pics. Wish I could upload this good one of Jason and Patterson but I can't do it from work.

OK, willSFC and I are to blame/thank for the HuntsVegas Trucker stream.
The source was my FOB mics and moving to a better location for wifi was not an option. Placing the laptop on the soundboard was and from what I understood, it worked pretty well after that. Glad everyone got to listen to such a fantastic show!

I have some good news and some bad news!
Good news is, the audio recording came out great. It better have since I was the only taper there, at least the only one at the board.
I have video of nearly the entire show, but it was shot with a Kodak PlayTouch pocket HD video camera that was mounted on the mic stand. We ran audio out of the recording into the video so the audio is pretty cool. About 1:10 in I had to swap batteries so we lost a couple minutes. It's just a static shot from beside the board. Will shot about half the show with a better HD cam on a tripod and got some tighter footage. I'm sure he will be doing something with it in the very near future.

Now the bad news is, after work I'll be going out of town and will not be back until Thursday, which means the show will not be uploaded until Thursday evening or early Friday morning. I'm really sorry because I normally try to get shows up a day later, if possible. Believe me, it will be worth the wait.

I'd check YouTube.com/will24411 for possible videos from the show.

I've said it elsewhere and I'll say it here: "But folks, it's still a sad story when legend over shadows the songs and the band."

Those are surreal photos. I still pine for Jason every time I am headed to a rawk show, seems like seeing him with the band and not doing a song would be quite a tease, but still this is as pissed as I have ever been about not being at a particular show. Hell I just remembered I was watching Jason youtube vids last nite. See yall at the rawkshow in Vegas baby!

I have the perfect comeback to this, but it might be pushing my luck.

Isn't this the case with every great rock act since the genre began? While I do believe said history is littered with fable, it's a portion of what helps to weave the yarn of the cozy little comforter that is R+R.

Just remember, you're working with history. This is the Rawk equivalent of the Zapruder tape.

Wow. Can't wait to hear it. I'm sitting at my desk crying because I had to schedule a trip to Huntsville for work (first time ever), scheduled it around the rawk show (I ain't no fool), then someone else had to change the date because he was going to Alaska (in January, from Alabama, go figure). SO I MISSED IT.

From about 2 minutes into ltbr to the end of the set it was Isbell on Pattersons guitar. Patterson just sang.

Heathens was Jason on Neffs guitar and Neff on Pedal Steel

do they always do that epic, slowed down, jammy part at the end of "people who died," or was that a special thing?

Duke,

I have seen them do the "jam" thing several times for People Who Died. They did it during one show and were passing around the Jack Daniels bottle with the front row. It was pretty much awesome.
