cool little vid. gonna have to watch it again to see wtf patterson's "the movie version" essay has to do with anything.

i think it literally causes cooley physical pain to talk about his songs beyond surface level stuff.

these things are very cool.

speaking of neff, how bout that bad ass sitar (kinda thrown in like a monkees episode)......continues playing as as patterson discusses cop. loses it's easterny sound and takes something swampy on.

maybe.

That sitar got me thinking about the "Which One's Keef" thread. If Patterson is Mick and Cooley is Keef then Neff must be Brian Jones with that sitar. I bet he could also play melotron, oboe, recorder and everything else Brian Jones did in that mid sixties Stones era.

Band is in a generous mood today. Cooley performs "Cartoon Gold" on that beautiful Baxendale:

Eipsode 2 is great. The literary aspect of DBT is among the most fascinating parts of the band.

The acoustic Cartoon Gold is really nice. I say this every time I see it but damn is that guitar badass.

Totally badass. Would it kill him to use it live now and then? I've only seen him use it once
And I knew when I woke up Rock N Roll would be here forever

Yes, i was just thinking that i need to spend even more of my waking hours devoted to my favorite band. :) As soon as it starts to impinge on meal time, i'll know it's time for rehab 'cause at this point that's pretty much all that's left
