Damn I would love to get to this. I just don't see it being possible though with all of the money I already have sunk into concerts this summer.

If you are on the fence about this... DO IT!! I can't swing the $$ it would take for us to go (airfare,tix, lodging etc) but if you can swing it don't miss it. There is a local bar/motel Black Bear Lodge.. close, cheap enough.. but it is a run down dive.. great place to party before or after and they have GOOD food.. but the rooms are in shambles. No taping/ no cameras STRICT policy.

i'm torn between trying to do this Tarrytown show and Mt Jam...can't afford all of it...and don't have a car so i'm gonna be relying on (Bill ?) and others for transpo and i know SeanP is too....

Hotel rooms at Hunter Inn are still available for 200/night--but you have to book 3 nights. If 4 of us room together, that's not bad, right? (150/pp)?

We're thinking of staying Fri night either somewhere cheap near Tarrytown, or somewhere cheap near the Ramble. Defintely somewhere cheap near the Ramble on Sat night. We're not doing Mountain Jam. It seems lots of people are interested in sharing hotels, let's see if we can figure something out. We don't want to camp, as much as we love camping, you never know what the weather will do and for convenience sake, I think hotels are easier after rock shows.

I'll post something in the Tarrytown thread too to look at this thread for hotel stuff.

Quick search found there are not many hotels near Woodstock, VT. Closest was 7.3 miles from the Ramble, Roadway Inn in Kingston, NY, 2 queens, 4 adults is $110.
